Ann Schaefer, 39, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:32 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, at a residence in the 800 block of Kinzer Street. Schaefer was unable to post bond, but was taken to Municipal Court and released.

An employee at Dollar General at 703 E. Pine St. reported at 8:18 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, a white male stole pet food from the store.

Employees at Munch and Pump at 505 Sycamore St. reported at 8:54 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, a white male damaged the door to the business when they refused to allow him to enter. The suspect left before officer arrival.

Stephanie M. Lock, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:36 a.m. Thursday, Aug, 10, in Carter County on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI, failure to drive in the right lane resulting in an accident and no seat belt. She was released.

A 44-year-old man sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 5:50 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, on U.S. Highway 60, one mile east of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Jason A. Gholson, 44 of Wappapello was operating a 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser eastbound when it ran off the left side of the highway, crossed the median and came to a rest in the wood line.
Gholson was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 15-year-old juvenile female sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 7:20 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, on County Road 459, five miles west of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, the juvenile was operating a 2005 Ford Focus southbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a fence.
The juvenile was taken by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
