Asa Wyatt reported at 3:54 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, an outside A/C unit at Kinyon School at 910 W. Vine St. was damaged and metal parts were stolen from inside.

At 3:54 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, a resident in the 600 block of West Lexington flourished a pistol during a confrontation with an adult male who was visiting the residence. The suspect left before the police were called.

Daniel Burks, 32, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 7:24 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, on North C Street at Sycamore Street. Burks was booked in on a Butler County warrant for trespassing with a $2,500 bond and Poplar Bluff municipal warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses and code violations with a $1,000 bond. He was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Dustin Knowles reported at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, someone stole a window mount A/C unit from a property he owned in the 300 block of North C Street.

Madelin Noble reported at 8:51 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, she heard a noise outside her residence in the 900 block of Henderson Street and saw someone run away from the residence.

Shayla Wood, 21, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. Thursday, April 13, during a traffic stop on South Fifth Street. Wood was booked in on a Butler County warrant for failure to appear on possession of a controlled substance with a $5,000 cash only bond and a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for failure to appear on charges of no insurance with a $100 bond. Wood was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Ashleigh Pakula reported at 5:46 a.m. Thursday, April 13, two wallets with ID, credit cards and cash were stolen from her car while it was parked at her residence in the 600 block of Cynthia Street.

An employee at O’Neal Elementary School reported on April 13, a student threw a tantrum in class and was escorted to a seclusion room. There, the child kicked a hole in the wall of the room. This matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.
