Officers responded Saturday, Sept. 7, to the 900 block of Oakwood Street about stealing. The victim stated someone stole his license plates from his truck between 09/05/2024 and 09/07/2024. The license plates were entered as stolen.

Officers responded Saturday, Sept. 7, to the 2200 block of West Maud Street about an incorrigible juvenile. Contact was made with the parent of the juvenile and it was determined the juvenile needed to go to the hospital for a mental evaluation. EMS arrived and transported the juvenile to the hospital.

Officers responded Saturday, Sept. 7, to Munch N Pump about stealing. An employee advised an unknown black male entered the store, stole a bottle of bourbon, and left without paying for the item. This investigation is ongoing.

Randolph Neske, 62, of Poplar Bluff was arrested Saturday, Sept. 7, on a Stoddard County warrant. Neske was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Steven Swindle, 51, of Poplar Bluff was arrested Saturday, Sept. 7, on a P&P warrant. Swindle was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded Saturday, Sept. 7, to the 400 block of West Midland Street about a domestic dispute. Contact was made with both parties and both advised nothing physical had taken place. Both parties were advised of the Missouri Domestic Law.

Officers responded Saturday, Sept. 7, to Shoe Carnival about a Leaving the Scene Accident. Contact was made with the victim who advised he was inside the business and when he came out he discovered someone had damaged the rear of his vehicle and left the scene. This accident is under investigation waiting on video surveillance.

Douglas Richardson, 59, of Poplar Bluff Saturday, Sept. 7, was arrested on a Butler County warrant. Richardson was lodged in the Butler County jail.

Officers responded Saturday, Sept. 7, to the front desk of the police station about a violation of an order of protection. The victim stated her ex-boyfriend came to her house and made threats to harm her. The victim has an active order of protection and charges were sent to the Butler County Prosecutor’s office. The suspect fled the scene and was unable to be located.

Officers responded Saturday, Sept. 7, to the area of Karen Drive about a domestic dispute. Contact was made with both parties and they were fighting over who was going to care for their children. A summons was mailed to the suspects.

Brenda Burks, 40, of Poplar Bluff was arrested Saturday, Sept. 7, on a Butler County warrant. Burks was lodged in the Butler County jail.
