MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A 43-year-old Dexter resident was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:42 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, on County Road 275, two miles east of Puxico.

According to the report, Jennifer L. Rice was operating a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville northbound when it ran through an intersection and struck a utility pole.

Rice suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Lisa Marie Brown, 53, of the 700 block of East Outer Road was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Sept. 28, on a warrant for second-degree assault. She was released on bond.

Gregory Leach, 30, of the 600 block of Eighth Street was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Sept. 28, on a failure to appear warrant for no seat belt and a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Allen Jack Burleson of Fisk reported several wires were cut, including computer and plug wires, on his vehicle while it was parked at his residence in the 5300 block of Highway 51 between 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, and 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27.

STODDARD COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

BLOOMFIELD — Kevin James McCormick, 43, of Dexter was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on a failure to appear warrant.

BLOOMFIELD — Derek Wade Mays, 40, of Bernie was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on a warrant for first-degree harassment and second-degree kidnapping.

MALDEN POLICE DEPARTMENT

MALDEN — Marley Colburn, 40, of Malden was arrested Monday, Sept. 28, on a Dunklin County warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon. Colburn was booked at the Malden City Jail and later transferred to the Dunklin County jail.
