Two area residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, on U.S. 67, one mile north of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Chad A. Benesh, 51, of Jackson was operating a 2013 Honda westbound when it struck a 1999 Toyota pickup in the driving lane.
The Toyota, which was being operated by a 16-year-old Poplar Bluff resident, reportedly had been involved in a previous crash, which caused it to come to rest in the driving lane.
Both drivers suffered minor injuries.
The teen, whose name was not listed in the report, was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Benesh reportedly refused treatment at the scene.

An 18-year-old Poplar Bluff resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, on Highway M at Stringtown.
According to the report, Sara M. Villa Trejo was operating a southbound 2010 Mercedes when it pulled into the path of a 2005 Ford pickup being driven westbound by Courtney R. Arakai, 27, of Poplar Bluff.
Villa Trejo suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Two Charleston residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, on U.S. 60 at Van Buren.
According to the report, Earnest J. Hardwick, 48, of Ellsinore was operating a 1997 GMC truck eastbound when he failed to yield and pulled his truck in the path of a 2013 GMC pickup being driven westbound by Timothy W. Sullivan.
Sullivan’s truck allegedly struck Hardwick’s truck.
Sullivan, 57, and his 52-year-old passenger, Paula L. Sullivan, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Donald R. Park, 52, of Greenville was arrested at 6:41 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, on suspicion of DWI (drugs), failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in accident, driving while suspended, no seat belt and failure to display valid plates. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.
