MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 26-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:45 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, on Highway HH at County Road 244 in Butler County.
According to the report, Brittney E. Reece was operating a 2005 Ford Taurus eastbound when it ran off the left side of the road, where it struck a ditch and overturned.
Reece suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Five Seymour, Mo., residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, on U.S. 60, one mile east of Ellsinore.
According to the report, Michael L. Christian, 69, of Ellsinore was operating a westbound 2006 Chevrolet pickup, which made a right turn, and the trailer it was pulling was struck in the rear by a 1999 GMC Suburban being operated by James L. Hutson, 65, of Seymour.
During the collision, the trailer broke loose from Christian’s truck and went into its bed.
Hutson’s passenger, Lydia Schwartz, 46, suffered serious injuries, and was flown to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis for treatment.
Four other passengers — Anna Schwartz, Emma Schwartz, Katie Schwartz and Leah Schwartz, were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Anna Schwartz and Leah Schwartz suffered moderate injuries, while Emma Schwartz and Katie Schwartz, 36, suffered minor injuries.

An 86-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, on Highway 53, just south of county Road 617, in Butler County.
According to the report, Shirley A. Livingston was operating a 2019 Cadillac southbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2003 Ford Windstar van being driven northbound by Bonnie M. Medley, 89, of Poplar Bluff.
Livingston suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Dustin K. Dunn, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:08 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, on a Wayne County warrant for probation violation on an original drug offenses. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Payton, 39, of Piedmont was arrested at 7:51 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, on a Mississippi County warrant for non-support and on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended and unlawfully operating an all-terrain vehicle on the highway. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

Michael L. Shipman, 39, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 5:43 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was booked at the Butler County jail and later released.

Tiana Lee Balfanz, 36, of the 1700 block of Saxon Street was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at the police station on a Wayne County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Mish M. McBride of Dexter reported at about 7:55 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, that a window was broken out of her 2017 GMC Yukon while it was parked at Colton’s Steak House in the 2100 block of North Westwood Boulevard.
According to the report, a bag belonging to Jakob R. Harris of Dexter was stolen from McBride’s SUV. It contained insulin medications, needles, sunglasses and other miscellaneous items.

Dolly L. Sanders of Van Buren reported Friday, Sept. 13, that her purse was left in a shopping cart on the parking lot of the Walmart Supercenter.
According to the report, debit, credit and Social Security cards, as well as cellphone, money, driver’s license, checkbook and keys, were stolen.

Michelle L. Kilgore of the 300 block of West Davis Street reported her residence was forcibly entered between 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, and noon Sunday, Sept. 15.
According to the report, three TVs and a home theater sound system were stolen. A detective with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division processed the scene.

A 27-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:13 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Highland Drive.
According to the report, William D. Stewart, 57, of Canton, Ill., was operating a 2002 Ford Chateau motor home southbound on Westwood Boulevard and was slowing down due to the stop light at Highland Dive.
At the same time, Brittany E. Patterson of the 2700 block of Barron Road was operating a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox directly behind Stewart’s motor home.
Patterson allegedly failed to see Stewart’s vehicle come to a stop, and her SUV collided into the rear of the motor home.
Patterson complained of back and neck pain and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

MALDEN — Tiffany Scott, 45, of Malden was arrested Friday, Sept. 13, on a Cole County warrant for fraud. She was booked at the Malden City Jail and later transferred to the Dunklin County jail.
