MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 25-year-old Benton man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 8:25 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, on Highway 77, one mile south of Benton, in Scott County.
According to the report, Matthew T. Fredwell was operating a 2008 Ford pickup southbound when it turned into the path of a 2000 Freightliner being driven northbound by Randall J. McCollom, 33, of Bloomfield.
Fredwell suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

Michael A. Sharp, 40, of Wappapello was arrested at 3:21 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (Acetaminophen/Hydrocodone), possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana and no seat belt and two Wayne County warrants for possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

David Wayne Fletcher, 31, of the 600 block of Bearden Street was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Oct. 5, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, stealing and first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

Goeffrey Donald Spears, 31, of the 1600 block of Spring Street was booked at the Butler Count jail Monday, Oct. 5, on two failure to appear warrants for fourth-degree domestic assault and leaving the scene of an accident.

James M. Carrier of the 2400 block of County Road 450 reported Friday, Oct. 2, that his residence had been forcibly entered.
According to the report, a TV, a gaming system, surround-sound system, laptop computer, clothing and electronic tablet had been stolen.

Deshante Rassaan Nabors, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 5:44 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in the 3100 block of Oak Grove Road on a warrant for parole violation on an original robbery charge. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

MALDEN — Paul Parks, 47, of Malden was arrested Monday, Oct. 5, on a Dunklin County warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. He was booked at the Malden City Jail and later transferred to the Dunklin County jail.
