MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 77-year-old Millersville woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, on Highway 72, one mile east of Millersville.
According to the report, Richard L. Welker, 76, of Millersville was operating a southbound 2016 Chrysler Town and Country van, which was making a left turn and pulled into the path of a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe being operated westbound by Billy Harris, 56, of Poplar Bluff.
Harris’ SUV allegedly struck Welker’s van, which ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Welker’s passenger, Virginia P. Welker, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center for treatment.

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, on U.S. 60 at Highway E in New Madrid County.
According to the report, Kenlea R. Cochran, 17, of Morehouse was operating a 2012 Chrysler 200 southbound when she failed to yield to a 2016 Toyota Camry being driven westbound by Connie I. Hinman, 71, of Dexter.
Cochran suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.
Hinman’s passenger, Ashley D. Hinman, 34, of St. Louis, also suffered minor injuries. She was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for treatment.

Gunter Anthony Davidson, 21, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the 800 block of Fairmont Street on a municipal failure to appear warrant for stealing. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Terry Lee Mitchell, 54, of the 800 block of Peach Street was arrested at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the 600 block of South Westwood Boulevard on a municipal failure to appear warrant for no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
