MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A 32-year-old Farmington man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10:05 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, on U.S. 67, one-half mile west of Silva.

According to the report, Christopher K. Boren was operating a 2014 Kia Forte southbound when it ran off the right side of the road, struck a guard rail and then travelled off the left side of the road. Boren’s vehicle reportedly came to rest in the median.

Boren suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Boren was arrested on suspicion of DWI and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash. He was released.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Shanesha Rene Burns, 33, of Poplar Bluff was booked at the Butler County jail Tuesday, Oct. 20, awaiting a court appearance.

Nathan Lee Counts, 32, of Sikeston was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Oct. 19, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance. He later was released.

James Lee Magouirk, 44, of Qulin was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Oct. 19, on a capias warrant for probation violation on an original DWI charge.

Dylan Micheal Merritt, 28, of the 3100 block of Highway 53 was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Oct. 19, on a warrant for non-support. He was released on bond.

Kenneth Allen Smith, 24, of Wappapello was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Oct. 19, on two capias warrants for probation violation on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance.
