Brittaney D. Ruedrich, 31, of Benton was arrested at 11:29 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of a controlled substance (Alprazolman) and failure to drive on the right half of the road. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Lachance, 37, of Qulin was arrested at 3:59 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, on a Wayne County warrant for dangerous drugs, a Wayne County failure to appear warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and a Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrant for shoplifting. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

He was booked at the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department.

Brian O’Neal Smith of the 600 block of County Road 448 reported his 2003 Suzuki all-terrain vehicle was stolen from his garage between about 8:30 p.m. Nov. 3 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 4.

Blane Maxwell of Bertrand reported Thursday, Nov. 7, that his unlocked truck had been entered while it was parked in the 100 block of Bluff Canyon Road and a Ruger .22-caliber revolver stolen.

Kala Daniel Nelson, 17, of the 900 block of West Vine Street was arrested at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Poplar Bluff High School on suspicion of assault. She was booked and released on a criminal summons.

Roderick Darien Russell, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at noon Thursday, Nov. 7, in the 700 block of North D Street on a municipal failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Maxwell Wayne Morelan, 23, of the 500 block of County Road 323 was arrested at 3:14 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, on Clare Avenue on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana and on a Washington County warrant for possession of stolen property. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Joanna Leigh Taylor, 39, of the 900 block of Poplar Street was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at Probation and Parole on a municipal warrant. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Jeffery Andrew Boyer, 47, of Doniphan was arrested at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, at Probation and Parole on a warrant for parole violation on an original child molestation charge. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Earney J. Knox of Poplar Bluff reported Wednesday, Nov. 6, that a 2006 Ford pickup, owned by R.L. Persons Construction, had been entered while it was parked at Baldwin Ford in the 800 block of South Westwood Boulevard.

According to the report, a flashlight, wooden box with two battery chargers, tape measures, scale ruler, batteries for a grease gun, expandable magnet, knives, sock hats, gloves and keys were among the items stolen from the truck.

Kristin Lacey reported her 2015 Chrysler 200 was stolen from Aesthetic Nirvana in the 1600 block of West Harper Street after 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Three Poplar Bluff residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Shelby Road.

According to the report, Betty Darlene Jones, 56, of the 300 block of North G Street was operating a 2002 Toyota Highlander, which entered the Westwood Boulevard intersection from the inside, southbound lane of Shelby Road.

At the same time, James Lee McIver, 54, of the 3300 block of Maple Lane was operating a 2018 Ford van, which entered the Shelby Road/Highway 53 intersection from the inside, southbound lane of Westwood Boulevard.

As both vehicles entered the intersection, Jones’ SUV allegedly was struck broadside by McIver’s van.

According to Jones, she had been stopped at a red electric signal and proceeded into the intersection once the light turned green.

McIver told officers he was traveling south when Jones’ SUV allegedly pulled in front of his van. McIver further reported he had a green signal.

There reportedly were no independent witnesses to prove or disprove either of the drivers’ statements.

Jones complained of pain to her left arm and a contusion to her head.

Jones’ passenger, Richard John Floyd Shamblin, 52, of the 200 block of North B Street, complained of back pain.

Another passenger in Jones’ vehicle, Brena Louise Atwell, 24, of the 200 block of North B Street complained of pain to her right arm.

All three were taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.

MALDEN — Jordan Tatum of Dexter was arrested Thursday, Nov. 7, on a Wayne County failure to appear warrant for failure to register a motor vehicle. Tatum was booked at the Malden City Jail.

MALDEN — Kaceshus Hill, 44, of Malden was arrested Thursday, Nov. 7, on a Malden municipal warrant for contempt of court. He was booked at the Malden City Jail and released on bond.
