Robert McCaffrey reported at 10 p.m. Thursday, May 29, that a window air conditioning unit was stolen from a rental house he owns in the 500 block of South Eighth Street. Delores Ross, 44, of the 400 block of Benton Street was arrested on Fifth Street at 8:59 p.m. Thursday, May 28, on suspicion of DWI, driving while revoked, exceeding the speed limit, failure to stop (two counts) and financial responsibility. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Raymond Dwayne Dushuanack, 45, of the 500 block of Midland was arrested on Karen Drive at 1:33 a.m. Friday, May 29, on suspicion of peace disturbance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Jarrod Lewis, an employee of JML Inc., reported at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28, that seven or eight panels of chain link fence were stolen from a construction site in the 500 block of South C Street.

City police responded at 5:28 p.m., Thursday, May 28, to a report of shots fired from a vehicle and a suspect with an injury on Eighth Street. Upon their arrival, officers did not find the subject or the vehicle.

Johnny Pentecost of the 300 block of Main Street reported Wednesday, May 27, that his girlfriend’s 2017 GMC Terrain had been stolen from her driveway sometime between May 24 and 1 a.m. May 25. The burned and abandoned vehicle later was found on the side of a road at Neelyville.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

John A. Malone, 31, of Dexter, was arrested at 7:38 a.m. Thursday, May 28, in Stoddard County on suspicion of felony driving while intoxicated (drugs), chronic offender and felony driving while revoked. He was held in Stoddard County on 24-hour hold.

Nuul L. Canada, 21, of Mansfield, La., was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, May 28, on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of less than 10 grams marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, no valid operator’s license, failed to drive on right half of roadway and no reflective tail lights. He was held in the Wayne County Jail.

Savara K. Metheny, 38, of Bernie, was arrested at 8:25 a.m. Friday, May 29 in Stoddard County on a Matthews Police Department misdemeanor warrant. He was held at the Matthews Police Department.

According to patrol reports Garry W. Casteel, 64, of Annapolis was seriously injured at 12:20 p.m. Friday, May 29, on Highway 21 three miles south of Arcadia. The report said the crash occurred when Casteel’s 2006 Harley Davudson was traveling north and travelled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. He was flown by air ambulance to Barnes Jewish Hospital.

Judith A. Martubez, 54, of Cary, Ill., received moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 1:45 p.m. Thursday, May 28. According to reports she was driving a 2008 Honda CRV, lost controll and was struck by a 2019 Ford F650 UHaul Truck driven by Gabriel M Martinez, 53 of Cary, Ill. and the Honda overturned. Judith A. Martinez was transported by emergency medical services to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
