Samantha J. Freeze, 33, of Ellington was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Friday, April 30, in Reynolds County on a Butler County warrant for larceny. She was booked at the Reynolds County jail.

David L. Allen, 32, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:37 a.m. Saturday, May 1, in Butler County on a failure to appear warrant for no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Russell L. Black, 39, of Fairdealing was arrested at 12:26 a.m. Saturday, May 1, in Ripley County on suspicion of DWI, no seat belt and no rear license plate lamp. He was released.

Herbie S. Clark, 56, of Dexter was arrested at 8:28 p.m. Friday, April 30, in Stoddard County on suspicion of DWI and failure to drive on the right half of the roadway. He was released.

Eugene S. Emmons, 43, of Jackson, Missouri, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Friday, April 30, in Stoddard County on a Butler County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

A 26-year-old man suffered moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 8:47 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at the intersection of Highway 53 and Butler County Road 213 in Qulin.

According to the report, Tyler C. Gudiswitz, 26, of Qulin was operating a 2014 Jeep Compass southbound on Highway 53 when he ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Gudiswitz was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 52-year-old woman suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 3:55 p.m. Friday, April 30, on Wayne County Road 403, three miles south of Greenville.

According to the report, Charles F. Thornton, 58, of Piedmont was operating a 2003 Ford Ranger southbound on County Road 403 when he failed to negotiate a curve, traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned.

Robbin L. Thornton, 52, of Piedmont was a passenger in the vehicle and was transported by Air Evac to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

A 19-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman both suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:54 p.m. Friday, April 30, at the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway HH in Reynolds County.

According to the report, Alaura A. Davis, 30, of Eminence was operating a 2016 Jeep Patriot northbound on Highway 21 and slowed to make a left turn when a 2016 Toyota Tundra operated by Justice L. Wagnon, 28, of Little Rock, Arkansas, attempted to pass Davis, striking the unit she was towing.

Two passengers in Davis’s vehicle, Jaden S. Hubbard, 19, of Ellington and Audrae A. Hubbard, 32, of Ellington suffered minor injuries and were transported by Reynolds County Ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Four people suffered moderate injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 6:59 a.m. Friday, April 30, on Highway 80, 1-1/2 miles west of East Prairie.

According to the report, Jonathan W. Higgins, 30, of East Prairie was operating a 2002 Ford Focus westbound on Highway 80 when he attempted to make a left turn and failed to yield to an eastbound 2004 Chrysler Crossfire operated by Kenneth W. Wallace, 54, of Dexter.

Higgins and his passenger, Erica L. Wheatcraft, 32, of East Prairie, plus Wallace and his passenger, Rhonda L. Wallace, 51 of Dexter, suffered moderate injuries and were transported by Mississippi County EMS to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
