MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Three area residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:28 p.m. Sunday, March 29, on U.S. 62 at Highway 25 in Dunklin County.

According to the report, Ran Neisha L. Dunn, 19, of Cape Girardeau was operating a 2007 Chrysler Sebring westbound when it pulled into the path of a 2006 Toyota 4Runner being driven southbound by Ashlie N. Myers, 32, of Bloomfield.

Myers’ SUV allegedly struck Dunn’s car.

Dunn received minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to SoutheastHEALTH in Dexter for treatment.

Myers and her 53-year-old passenger, Jimmy H. Garner of Bloomfield, also suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Patricia A. Penick, 58, of Dexter was arrested at 8:27 p.m. Sunday, March 29, on suspicion of DWI. She was booked at the Dexter City Jail and released.

Robert G. Burgin, 41, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:12 p.m. Sunday, March 29, on suspicion of DWI (persistent offender). He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

Chelsey Rae Roberts, 34, of the 1900 block of Iowa Avenue was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, March 29, on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. She was released on bond.

John Soto Ruiz, 34, of Wappapello was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, March 30, on warrants for first-degree trespassing and second-degree assault.

Dylan Scott Stricklin, 37, of the 400 block of South C Street was booked at the Butler County jail on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was released on bond.

Thomas Monroe Birchefield of Malden reported his 2002 Ford pickup was forcibly entered on Saturday, March 28, while it was parked in the 400 block of Highway 67 South.

According to the report, the ignition was damaged in an apparent attempt to steal the truck. Nothing appeared to be missing.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Curry Louden Brawley, 30, of the 1900 block of South Broadway was arrested at 1:40 p.m. Sunday, March 29, on C Street on two Butler County failure to appear warrants for possession of a controlled substance and delivery of a controlled substance to a county jail and on a warrant for parole violation. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Stephanie Marie Brawley, 29, of Qulin was arrested at 1:45 p.m. Sunday, March 29, in the 500 block of East Pine Street on a Reynolds County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. She was booked and released.

Ethan Trinity Shaffer, 26, no address listed, was arrested at 11:34 p.m. Friday, March 27, on Dewey Street near Vincent Street on suspicion of stealing a motor vehicle. He was booked and released pending review of his case by the prosecuting attorney.

Bridgett Lene Cannon, 53, of the 600 block of Bartlett Street was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at her residence on suspicion fourth-degree domestic assault. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Douglas Junior Moses, 60, of the 600 block of Bartlett Street was arrested at 9:16 p.m. Sunday, March 29, at his residence on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Serella May Temple, 32, of Naylor was arrested at 5:10 p.m. Friday, March 27, in the 700 block of North Westwood Boulevard on suspicion of first-degree burglary, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked and released pending review of her case by the prosecuting attorney.

Scott Edward Broccard, 54, no address listed, was arrested at 8:15 p.m. Friday, March 27, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of first-degree burglary and stealing. He was booked and released pending review of his case by the prosecuting attorney.

Nathan D. Montgomery, 33, of the 1100 block of North Main Street was arrested at 1 a.m. Saturday, March 28, in the 1200 block of Velma Street on suspicion of first-degree burglary, fourth-degree assault and first-degree property damage. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
