MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A 47-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. Sunday, June 7, on U.S. 67, one mile north of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Robert E. Dean, 39, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2012 Dodge pickup northbound when he failed to yield to a southbound 2000 Chevrolet pickup, which caused the Chevrolet truck to strike an eastbound 2009 Ford pickup.

The Chevrolet’s driver, Dewayne D. Lampston, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The Ford’s driver was Harold D. McQueen, 57, of Macks Creek, Missouri.

Three area residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Sunday, June 7, on Highway 34 at Highway V in Wayne County.

According to the report, Jason L. Robinson, 17, of Piedmont was operating a southbound 2006 Dodge Stratus, which was attempting to cross the road and was struck by a 2004 Dodge pickup being driven eastbound by James Crutchfield, 81, of Poplar Bluff.

Robison suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Crutchfield suffered moderate injuries, while his 78-year-old passenger, Shirley Crutchfield of Poplar Bluff, suffered minor injuries. The Crutchfields were taken to the Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment.

A 39-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:35 p.m. Friday, June 5, on U.S. 160, one-quarter of a mile east of U.S. 67.

According to the report, Kelly S. Ward, 55, of Poplar Bluff was operating a southbound 2015 Freightliner, which failed to yield and was struck by a 2000 Toyota Corolla being driven eastbound by Amber R. Young.

Young suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Jesse L. Parsons, 35, of Willow Springs, Missouri, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. Saturday, June 6, on a Ripley County warrant and on suspicion of failure to stop at a stop sign, no valid license, no insurance, failure to display valid plates and no seat belt. He was booked at the Howell County Jail.

Stanley L. Asberry, 52, of Ellington was arrested at 8:13 p.m. Friday, June 5, on suspicion of DWI, no proof of insurance, no valid license, possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Reynolds County Jail.

William J. Lohse, 63, of Hanson, Kentucky, was arrested at 10;18 p.m. Sunday, June 7, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful use of a weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

Sean M. Jones, 31, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 5:05 p.m. Sunday, June 7, on suspicion of DWI, speeding, no valid license and failure to display front license plate. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

Jason K. Scott, 32, of Naylor was arrested at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 7, on a Ripley County failure to appear warrant for forgery and a Butler County warrant for receiving stolen property. He was booked at the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Jinny Lyn Camp, 34, of Naylor was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, June 6, on two failure to appear warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and DWI and a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. Camp was released on bond.

Robert Allen Kruse, 50, of Doniphan was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, June 7, on a warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm.

Sherry Dean Kirk of the 500 block of South D Street reported at about 5:30 a.m. Friday, June 5, that multiple storage containers and a suitcase had been stolen from her father-in-law’s residence in the 4900 block of Highway KK at Wappapello.

According to the report, household goods, photographs and jewelry were among the items held in the stolen containers and suitcase. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime after 7 p.m. Thursday, June 4.

Mammie W. Gordon of Fisk reported Thursday, June 4, that her Hi-Point 9mm pistol had been stolen from Brian Taylor’s Broseley residence.

Rebecca Ann Drake of the 400 block of County Road 306 reported her vehicle was entered between 10:30 p.m. Friday, June 5, and 9 a.m. Saturday, June 6.

According to the report, Drake’s wallet, containing money, debit and credit cards, two pocket knives and headphones, was stolen.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

George Andrew Morgan, 37, no address listed, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. Friday, June 5, in the 3000 block of Oak Grove Road on suspicion of peace disturbance. He was booked at the Butler County jail and later released.

Randy Joe Foster, 42, of the 1200 block of North Fifth Street was arrested at 2:10 p.m. Friday, June 5, at his residence on suspicion of domestic assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail and later released.

Brooke Latosha Richmann, 26, of Poplar Bluff was detained at about 4:25 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at the Walmart Supercenter. She was issued a summons for stealing and trespassing and released.

Kevin Chase Parker, 27, of Piedmont was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing/shoplifting. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Dustin Allen Sullivan, 24, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:20 p.m. Thursday, June 4, in the 800 block of Maud Street on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault. He was booked and released to medical personnel.

Two Poplar Bluff men were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:03 a.m. Wednesday, June 3, at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Pine Street.

According to the report, Westley Sterling Henson, 48, of Doniphan was operating a southbound 1996 Ford pickup, which was stopped in the left turn lane of Westwood Boulevard for a red light.

At the same time, Lawrence Alton McCann, 68, of the 2100 block of Inman Road was operating a 2018 Toyota Camry directly behind Henson’s truck.

McCann allegedly failed to stop his car in time and it impacted the trailer being pulled by Henson’s truck.

McCann and Henson’s passenger, Vincent Smith, 54, of the 700 block of South Ninth Street, were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
