A 63-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 28, on Highway 142,

According to the report, April D. Ice, 41, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix northbound when it struck rear of a 2006 Chevrolet Impala being operated by Gary McCain.

McCain suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 19-year-old Clarkton woman was injured in a three-vehicle crash at 12:40 p.m. Thursday, May 28, on Highway 53, two miles north of Qulin.

According to the report, Alexsa M. Gray was operating a 2009 Nissan Rogue southbound when it struck the rear of a 2013 Lincoln MKS being operated by Janelle N. Trout, 39, of Qulin.

Trout’s car then allegedly crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Freightliner being driven northbound by Jerret D. Crawford, 53, of Poplar Bluff.

Gray suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 38-year-old Bloomfield man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, on Highway 24, one-half mile north of Dexter.

According to the report, Bradley R. Cooper was operating a 1997 Ford pickup southbound when he began slowing in the road due to mechanical difficulty.

At the same time, Michael C. Hurt, 30, of Chaffee was operating a southbound 2011 Freightliner, which allegedly struck the rear of Cooper’s truck, causing Cooper to lose control. Cooper’s truck reportedly overturned.

Cooper suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter for treatment.

A 25-year-old Kennett man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 3:50 p.m. May 23 on U.S. 412 at the east city limits of Kennett.

According to the report, Brianna K. Harris, 23, of Portageville was operating a 2006 Chevrolet HHR westbound when it ran off the road. Harris allegedly overcorrected into the path of a 2016 GMC pickup being driven eastbound by James Shallie, 32, of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Shallie’s truck allegedly struck the right side of Harris’s car.

Harris suffered serious injuries and was flown to Region One Medical in Memphis, Tennessee, for treatment.

Harris’ passenger, Nicholas L. Hampton, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:59 p.m. by Dunklin County Coroner James Powell. Hampton is the 17th fatality in Troop E this year.

Shallie suffered minor injuries, as did a 5-year-old male passenger from Jonesboro. Another passenger in Shallie’s truck, Shanarkelle Burnette, 23, of Jonesboro, suffered moderate injuries.

Shallie and his passengers were taken by ambulance to Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti for treatment.

Bradley D. Couthren, 19, of Ellington was arrested at 2:02 p.m. Sunday, May 31, on suspicion of driving while revoked and no seat belt. He was booked at the Reynolds County Jail.

Jason M. Findley, 39, of Fisk was arrested at 9:58 p.m. Saturday, May 30, on two Butler County warrants for aggravated assault and sexual assault/sexual misconduct and on suspicion of no seat belt, speeding and no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Maxwell A. Hinch, 28, of Imperial, Missouri, was arrested at 1:18 p.m. Saturday, May 30, on a Ripley County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of peace disturbance and on suspicion of possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department.

Isaiah Lane Lopez, 22, of Qulin was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, May 30, on suspicion of peace disturbance and on a warrant for unlawful possession of firearms.

Christopher Dewayne Sutton, 33, of the 1200 block of Velma Street was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, June 1, on a warrant for parole violation.

Deputies responded at about 4:30 a.m. Monday, May 25, to 53 Package in the 1300 block of Highway 53.

According to the report, the business had been forcibly entered and a cooler door apparently kicked several times. Bags containing money reportedly was stolen.

Jenae Michelle Burpo of the 800 block of County Road 301 reported Friday, May 29, that her 2001 Ford pickup had been stolen sometime after Wednesday, May 21. The truck reportedly was parked in a driveway next to her residence at the time of the theft.

Darwin Lavern Davis III, 44, of the 1000 block of Kinzer Street was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing and first-degree trespassing. He was booked and released on criminal summonses.

Jerica Renee Wade, 29, of the 800 block of Bearden was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest and on a warrant for parole violation on an original drug offense and a Butler County warrant for unlawful possession of a firearm. She was booked and released to medical personnel.
