Marvin D. Hatton, 53, of Sikeston was arrested at 8:27 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, on suspicion of DWI (drugs), careless and imprudent driving and no insurance. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

A 24-year-old Dexter woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, on U.S. 60, one mile west of Highway F, in Stoddard County.
According to the report, Ashley N. Kinder was operating a 2007 Dodge pickup westbound when it slid on an ice-covered bridge, and it overturned and ran off the right side of the road.
Kinder suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Gary D. McDonald reported Friday, Dec. 13, that his 2002 Yamaha four-wheeler and Gregory Bell’s 2003 Polaris four-wheeler had been stolen from his shed between 4 and 7 p.m. Dec. 11.

Michelle Elder of Piedmont reported Friday, Dec. 13, that her storage unit in the 100 block of County Road 448 had been entered between Dec. 1 and Dec. 6.
According to the report, two TVs, satellite TV equipment, Xbox gaming console, two DVD/VCR players and a live-streaming device were stolen.

A 16-month-old Broseley boy was treated and released from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on Sunday, Dec. 15, after he was bitten by a dog.
According to the report, Shannon Gay Hathaway of the 2000 block of Highway CC told the deputy she and River J. Wright were watching TV with their dog when it bit the child in the face.
The boy suffered multiple punctures to both sides of his face, with the largest being next to his left eye.

Patti Lynn Armes of the 800 block of County Road 304 reported Monday, Dec. 16, that her storage unit in the 3800 block of Highway 67 North was entered sometime after 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13.
According to the report, a radial-arm saw, two tool boxes containing various tools and a box of Budweiser glass wear was stolen.

Gavin Douglas Cross, 18, of the 2700 block of Barron Road was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in the 2700 block of Barron Road on suspicion of second-degree assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

B.J. Nelson reported at about 7:25 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, that the battery and cables were stolen off of a 1996 Ford pickup parked at the City Cemetery on Gray Street.
According to the report, the starter and transmission lines also were damaged on a 2001 Chevrolet pickup.
