MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 67-year-old Doniphan man was injured in a motorcycle crash at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, on U.S. 160, one-half mile west of Doniphan.
According to the report, Wilhelm J. Stephens was operating a 2003 Honda motorcycle eastbound when it began sliding and overturned.
Stephens suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Tim Savat reported Tuesday, Aug. 18, several newly planted hemp plants had been destroyed and several buds ripped from the plants at The Hemp Joint in the 1000 block of Highway 142.
According to the report, about one pound of hemp was missing from the plants. The theft is believed to have occurred between 6 and 11:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17.

Naomi Charlene Gibbs of the 1300 block of Alice Street reported at about 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, that her 2009 Toyota Rav4 had been stolen while she left it running near the intersection of 11th and Kinzer streets.
According to the report, Gibbs found her SUV had struck a tree in the Commerce Bank parking lot and saw a Black male, wearing all black, running east on Pine Street.
