Scotty L. Reed, 51, of Malden was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, on a Dunklin County failure to appear warrant for no license and two Dunklin County warrants for assault and possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Eric D. Roots, 51, of Piedmont was arrested at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Wayne County on a Texas County felony parole violation warrant. He was booked at the Wayne County jail.

A 29-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 4:32 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, on Interstate 55 at mile marker 87.6.
According to the report, Ebony S. Haynes, 29, of Sikeston was operating a 2010 Honda Civic southbound when it pulled into the path of a southbound 2011 GMC 2500 pickup operated by a 17-year-old male from Dudley. Haynes’s vehicle then ran off the road and struck the guardrail, damaging five feet of guardrail.
Haynes was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Bryan L. Longhibler, 41, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, in Wayne County on suspicion of DWI, no seat belt and failure to register a motor vehicle. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 12-hour hold.
