At 3:02 p.m. Sunday, April 16, police responded to a medical emergency at a residence on Wallace Street. Due to the unavailability of an ambulance, the child in medical distress and a parent were transported to the hospital by patrol car.

Joseph Baney, 29, of Poplar Bluff, was booked at the police department at 5:50 p.m. Sunday, April 16, on a warrant for failure to appear on trespassing. He was released on his own recognizance as he was unable to post the $100 bond.

Carl Markham, 42, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, April 16, on North Main Street at Harper Street for failure to appear on a traffic offense warrant. He was released on his own recognizance as he was unable to post the $250 bond.

At 8:12 p.m. Sunday, April 16, police received a complaint from Anthony Little and Johnathan Fanter that an adult male acquaintance harassed and threatened them on North Main Street.

William Butler, 36, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 8:59 p.m. Sunday, April 16, on Fifth Street for failure to appear on animal control ordinance warrants. He was released on his own recognizance as he was unable to post the $200 bond.

At 9:34 p.m. Sunday, April 16, a gray 2013 Dodge passenger vehicle ran off the road and hit a wooded area in the 1100 block of Herschel Bess Boulevard. The occupants fled the scene, and the vehicle was impounded and towed by police.

At 11:35 p.m. Sunday, April 16, Drew Ernest, 31, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested on North Main Street on a Dexter municipal warrant for a traffic violation. He was released to a Dexter patrol officer as he was unable to post the $10 cash-only bond.

At 8:25 a.m. Sunday, April 17, an employee at Poplar Bluff High School reported two juvenile students using a THC vaping device. The device was seized and placed into evidence, and the matter was referred to the Juvenile Office.

Tyran Roseburrow, 31, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:02 p.m. Sunday, April 17, in the 700 block of Apple Street on charges of stealing a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm. Roseburrow was booked in and lodged in the Butler County jail.
