Firefighters responded at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, to a report of a smoke alarm sounding at 601 Apple Street. According to the report, firefighters found the occupants had been cooking and set off the alarm, but it was no longer activated.

Firefighters responded at 3:29 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, to a report of a heavy equipment fire at 3690 McLane Drive. According to the report, firefighters found an excavator on fire down the hill from the residence and used 1,500 gallons of water to extinguish the fire and an adjacent brush fire. Cal Sutton, the operator of the excavator, stated he had been piling brush on a brush fire and the excavator suddenly caught fire.

Justin Hensley, no age listed, was arrested at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, on Meadow Pine Lane on suspicion of resisting arrest and on Butler County warrants for first-degree burglary, second-degree domestic assault and third-degree domestic assault.

Gerard Aubuchon of the 200 block of County Road 3231 reported at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, that both of his license plates were stolen off of his vehicle.

Deputies responded to the 700 block of Highway 142 at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, to reports of stolen mail from several residents in the neighborhood.

Eva Bond of Inman Auto Sales, located at 2447 Highway Z, reported at 9:58 a.m. Monday, March 29, that one of the dealership’s dealer plates was missing or had been stolen roughly three weeks earlier.

Deputies responded to Walt’s Auto Sales, 2836 Highway B, at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, to a report of stolen property. According to the report, someone came onto the property the previous night and had removed catalytic converters from all vehicles on the property.

Robert Thurmon of Fisk reported that his 2012 John Deere 8310R was damaged and that items were taken from it between March 19 and March 23.

Deputies responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle at County Road 338, west of U.S. Highway 67, at 7:57 a.m. Sunday, March 28. Upon arrival, deputies found the vehicle appeared to have driven off the road at very low speed and came to rest in the ditch line, where it was stuck. The vehicle was towed by Nabert’s Towing.

Eric Butler of the 1300 block of County Road 607 reported at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, that his garage was broken into and that property was damaged inside. Upon further investigation, it was determined the garage door was forced open and someone attempted to remove wires from the garage and started a fire in the garage.

Tristen L. Mullins, 22, of the 1900 block of Raulston Avenue was arrested at 10:07 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, in the 1500 block of Grand Avenue on a failure to appear warrant for no proof of auto insurance.

Aaron R. Pollack, 33, of the 300 block of County Road 466 was arrested at 12:06 a.m. Thursday, April 1, in the 2200 block of South Westwood Boulevard on a failure to appear warrant for first-degree trespassing.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Brittany D. Eads, 29, of Williamsville was arrested at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 31, in Butler County on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and a failure to appear warrant for stealing. She was booked at the Butler County jail.
