Pedro J. Infante, 22, of the 2000 block of Wallace was arrested at 12:34 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, in the 1400 block of Industrial Park Road on a felony warrant. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters responded to an alarm at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Bronze Owl Brewing, 505 W. Pine St. It was investigation only.

Firefighters responded at 9:04 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, to a call of smoke in the area of 1505 Coolidge. They discovered a resident of 1605 Coolidge burning trash in a barbecue grill and advised them of the city’s burn ordinance. The resident put the fire out with a garden hose.

Firefighters responded at 7:48 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, to a report of smoke in the area of Riverview and Magnolia. Upon arrival, they found a burn pile of wire by the Black River, which they extinguished and cleaned up.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF DEPARTMENT

William P. Gleason, 63, of the 2300 block of Highway NN was booked Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

Kevin J. Kinney, 56, of Broseley was booked Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault.

Caleb L. Snowden, 36, of the 800 block of Lester Street was booked Tuesday, Sept. 21, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle and a warrant for stealing leased or rented property.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Tina M. Nixon, 30, of Malden was arrested at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, in Stoddard County on suspicion of DWI (alcohol) and driving while suspended. She was released.
