Bryce L. Nelson, 25, of the 300 block of Victor Street was booked Wednesday, Oct. 20, at the Butler County jail on a warrant for first-degree burglary.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters responded to a call at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, of a single-vehicle accident at 1213 W. Maud St. A truck had struck a utility pole, and firefighters helped control traffic until the scene was cleared.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jason D. Lee, 46, who listed multiple Poplar Bluff addresses, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, at Walmart on failure to appear warrants for no insurance, possession of a controlled substance and dangerous drugs, and on a parole violation warrant. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

William C. Taylor, 45, of the 1400 block of Alice was arrested at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, on Lexington Street on two failure to appear warrants for fraud and one for dangerous drugs, and on suspicion of possession of amphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
