POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Firefighters were dispatched at 5:48 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, to a reported shed fire at 1814 Bradley St. Upon arrival, the shed was fully involved and on the ground. Firefighters used 50 gallons of water to put the fire out. The occupant of the shed, which was owned by Paul White, reported burning brush near the shed when it caught fire.

Terry W. Martin, 41, of Gibson, Missouri, was arrested at 9:25 a.m. Monday, Jan. 17, on a New Madrid County failure to appear warrant for insufficient funds. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

John H.C. Ilges, 46, of the 1000 block of Ticket Street was arrested at 10:27 p.m. Monday, Jan. 17, near Westwood and Cherry streets on a Butler County warrant for no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Adam K. Brasher, 44, of Harviell was booked Monday, Jan. 17, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of second-degree domestic assault. He later was released.
