Tyrone K. Christmas, 43, of the 350 block of North Main Street was arrested at 4:512 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, on Cole Avenue on suspicion of DWI. He was released.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Firefighters responded at 8:37 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, to a reported vehicle accident on Highway 142 near McDonald’s. Upon arrival, they found a one-vehicle accident and removed a patient from the car before turning him/her over to EMS crews.
BUTLER COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT
County firefighters responded at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, to a report of an unknown fire in the 100 block of County Road 4701. It was determined to be a controlled burn.
