Daniel W. Summers, 43, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:52 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, in the 1400 block of Black River Industrial Park Road on an unspecified warrant. He was transported to the Butler County jail.

Brandon T. Arnold, 31, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:32 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, in the 700 block of Cynthia Street on a misdemeanor warrant. He was transported to the Butler County jail.

Amanda N. Fox, 32, Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, on Harper Street on a Stoddard County warrant for shoplifting. She was transported to the Butler County jail.

Jessica R. Sperling, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:41 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Walmart in the 300 block of Westwood Boulevard on suspicion of stealing. She was transported to the Butler County jail.
BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF
Robert Joseph Lowery, 41, of the 300 block of Leeblu Circle, was arrested Tuesday, Dec. 21, on suspicion of DWI with physical injury and a failure to appear warrant for driving while revoked/suspended. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Aryanna Destiny, 20, of the 300 block of C Street was booked Tuesday, Dec. 21, at the Butler County jail to serve 48 hours shock time.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Poplar Bluff firefighters from three stations responded to a building fire at 7:13 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 818 Kinzer St., Apartment No. 1. Fire was coming out of a second floor window. When firefighters went inside, the fire was in a locked bedroom. They kicked the door open and extinguished the fire, which was confined to the room of origin. The cause is undetermined. Municipal Utilities pulled the electric meter from the apartment. Shevon Ordway lived in the apartment and Keith Wilcut is the owner. Firefighters used 200 gallons of water.

Firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident with injures at 12:46 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at 918 W. Victor St. A Chevy Suburban had struck an electric pole. They talked to the victim, who stated she was not hurt but had a headache. Emergency Medical Services transported her to the hospital.
BUTLER COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT
Butler County firefighters responded at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 to a residence on County Road 573 which was filling with smoke. The furnace had an electrical short.
