Dylan Lee Crook, 27, of 1400 Black River Industrial Park Road, was arrested Sunday, Dec. 19, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation. He was booked into the Butler County jail.

Michael Davis Gilmore, 51, of the 1300 block of Benton Street was booked Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Butler County jail to serve 24 hours shock time.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Poplar Bluff firefighters responded at 2:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, to 1820 Raultson to a carbon monoxide incident. Firefighters arrived with the gas company. Nothing was found inside the home with the detectors. The gas company found an issue with the gas meter and was going to replace it.

Firefighters responded at 2:53 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, to the 700 block of Highway 53 to a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Firefighters assisted Butler County EMS with the injured patient. They helped prepared the injured individuals for transport before using 15 gallons of water to clear the roadway.

Firefighters responded at 10:57 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, to 1391 N. Westwood Blvd. to a smoke detector activation. The activation was unintentional.

BUTLER COUNTY FIRE
Butler County firefighters responded about 2:37 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, to County Road 543 to a water rescue. The caller had reported a subject was trapped in a vehicle in the water. No one was in the vehicle when firefighters arrived.

County firefighters responded at 10:37 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, to 10022 Highway T to a structure fire behind Millie’s Gas Station at Wappapello. Flames and smoke were showing when firefighters arrived. The fire was located in the kitchen and living room of the home occupied by John Hagy.

County firefighters responded at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, to a car fire on Highway 60. The vehicle was owned by Byran Stevens.

County firefighters responded at 1:28 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 19 to a structure fire at 15765 Highway 67 South. The structure was fully engulfed upon arrival. The structure was a loss.
MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 54-year-old man sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 12:10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, on Highway 142, one-half mile east of Naylor.
According to the report, Richard D. Lewis, 54, of Naylor was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Impala westbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck two culverts.
Lewis was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 12:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, on Highway 114, one mile south of Essex.
According to the report, Wesley D. Tackett, 30, of Bloomfield was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier eastbound when it crossed the center line and struck a westbound 2000 International operated by Brian L. Klienfelt, 47, of Harrisburg, Illinois.
Tackett sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center, while Klienfelt sustained minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Southeast Health of Stoddard County.

Two people sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 9:31 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, on U.S. Highway 60, one-quarter mile west of Ellsinore.
According to the report, Sydney R. Godwin, 24, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2007 Lexus RX350 eastbound when it struck a northbound 2004 Kia Sorento operated by Janet L. Burlbaugh, 58, of Ellsinore.
Godwin and a passenger in her vehicle, Mallory A. Guess, 24, of Poplar Bluff, sought their own medical treatment. Burlbaugh was not injured.

Sidney L. Jones, 46, of Bunker was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, in Butler County on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of a controlled substance in a jail facility and failure to signal. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 24-hour hold.

Jarrid C. Ross, 23, of Van Buren was arrested at 8:36 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 19, in Carter County on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI and misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident. He was released.

A 47-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 5:25 a.m. Monday, Dec. 20, on Highway WW, two miles north of Campbell.
According to the report, Jonathan B. Hisaw, 47, of Malden was operating a 1998 Peterbilt northbound when it ran off the right side of the road and overturned.
Hisaw was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
