Mylynn Truong of the 800 block of Wilcox Road reported Tuesday, July 13, cash was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at her residence.

Rivermist Assisted Living staff reported Thursday, July 15, the theft of $100 cash from a resident’s room.

A Poplar Bluff R-1 School District maintenance employee reported Thursday, July 15, someone had been trespassing at the senior high school. Video footage of the trespassers was obtained and will be reviewed in an effort to identify the suspects.

Officers were dispatched at 12:34 a.m. Saturday, July 17, to a residence in the 1300 block of Lela Street in reference to shots fired. An adult male was transported to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment for minor injuries. A preliminary investigation revealed the shooting stemmed from a domestic disturbance. The investigation continues.

Darrell Fuqua reported at 3:47 p.m. Saturday, July 17, unauthorized charges were made to his credit card.

Timothy Perkins, 50, of Puxico reported at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 17, his black 2012 Dodge passenger vehicle was stolen. Perkins said he had loaned the vehicle to a friend who refused to return it.

Theresa Wright of 1700 block of Illinois street reported at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, July 17, windows were broken out of her residence.

Tasha Kimes, 35, of Annapolis reported at 1:47 a.m. Sunday, July 18, her blue 2008 Chevrolet Malibu had been stolen. A few hours later the missing vehicle was found parked and unoccupied near the area it was last seen.

At 1:47 a.m. Sunday, July 18, a resident in the 100 block of South Eighth street reported personal documents were missing.

A juvenile male reported at 3:41 p.m. Sunday, July 18, he was assaulted by an unidentified male subject. The victim said he was walking alone in the area of Old Orchard at Ellen streets. A white van stopped, a male subject got out and punched him. The victim said he didn’t know the suspect.

A 54-year-old Poplar Bluff woman reported at 7:34 p.m. Sunday, July 18, her vehicle was struck while it was parked at a business in the 800 block of Highway 53.

Officers were dispatched at 9:29 p.m. Sunday, July 18, to the 600 block of Apple Street in reference to a report of shots fired in the area. There were no reports of injury or damage.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Poplar Bluff firefighters responded at 12:28 p.m. Saturday, July 17, to 1701 Broadway to a carbon monoxide incident. Firefighters used the multi gas meter and found approximately a 13 ppm reading on carbon monoxide. They requested Spire Gas and housing maintenance. The occupant stated they had shut off the gas to the kitchen stove and opened the door for a while prior to leaving.
Spire Gas arrived and got a reading of 19 ppm. Spire gas technicians remained on the scene to test appliances.

Firefighters responded to Northwest Medical Center, 2210 Barron Road, at 5:28 p.m. Saturday, July 17, for a fire alarm. Upon arrival, nothing was showing. Firefighters looked in windows around the building but didn’t find anything. When the keyholder arrived, firefighters checked each floor but nothing was found.
BUTLER COUNTY FIRE
Butler County firefighters responded about 11 a.m. Sunday, July 18, to a house fire at 640 County Road 468. The fire, which was in a mobile home, was out on arrival. Firefighters used fans to get smoke out of the home and found the range hood and cabinets were damaged.
