Reggie Lee Loyd, 34, of Neelyville was arrested Wednesday, June 23, at the Black River Industrial Park on a parole violation for dangerous drugs. According to the police report, when an officer attempted to make the arrest, Loyd ran. Officers conducted both a foot and vehicle chase. When Loyd was located hiding in tall weeds, officers believed he was reacting to an overdose. Emergency medical services were called and NARCAN was administered. Loyd was examined at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center before being booked into the Butler County jail.

Kelly Glen Vinson, 35, of the 500 block of South C and 800 block of Mulberry streets was arrested Tuesday, June 22, on a Ripley County failure to appear warrant for careless and imprudent driving. He was booked into the Butler County jail.
