Two people sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 5 a.m. Saturday, March 5, on Highway 25, one mile north of Clarkton.

According to the report, April D. Winters, 23, of Clarkton was operating a 2015 Chrysler 200 northbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole.

Winters and a four-year-old female passenger were transported by ambulance to SoutheastHEALTH in Dexter.

Matthew L. Richmond, 44, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:39 a.m. Saturday, March 5, in Butler County on suspicion of felony receiving stolen property, felony tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of ammunition while being a convicted felon and a Butler County misdemeanor warrant for a traffic violation. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 24-hour hold.

Deloriss E. Milam, 33, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:55 a.m. Saturday, March 5, in Butler County on a Stoddard County warrant for misdemeanor larceny. She was released.

Joshua D. Corona, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:36 a.m. Sunday, March 6, in Carter County on suspicion of DWI, no valid license, no insurance, speeding (20-25 miles per hour over the limit), no seat belt and on a Van Buren Police Department warrant for no valid license. He was booked at the Carter County jail.

Patrick R. Oxley, 32, of Campbell was arrested at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, March 6, in Butler County on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI (drugs), misdemeanor possession of 10 grams of marijuana, misdemeanor unlawful possession of paraphernalia, leaving the scene of an accident and no insurance. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 12-hour hold.

A 53-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 9:55 a.m. Sunday, March 6, on Highway 21, four miles west of Ellsinore.

According to the report, Stephanie A. Epstein, 53, of Doniphan was operating a 2021 Toyota Camry northbound when it pulled out of an intersection and failed to yield to an eastbound 2007 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Amber L. Kidwell, 35, of Harrison, Arkansas, resulting in a collision.

Epstein was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Gracie J. Bayless, 18, of Piedmont was arrested at 3:34 a.m. Monday, March 7, in Reynolds County on suspicion of misdemeanor DWI. She was cited and released.

Eric I. Mendoza, 25, of Chicago, Illinois, was arrested at 4:26 a.m. Monday, March 7, in Butler County on suspicion of DWI (alcohol) and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 12-hour hold.

A 9-year-old male sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident at 7:18 a.m. Monday, March 7, on Highway 25, two miles north of Clarkton.

According to the report, Michael C. Winstead, 42, of Bernie was operating a 2005 Ford Focus southbound when it struck the rear of a stopped southbound 2014 GMC Acadia operated by Robert D. Blevins, 53, of Malden. This caused Blevins’s vehicle to then strike the rear of a stopped southbound 2014 Jeep Cherokee operated by Amber M. Hargraves, 30, of Campbell.

A 9-year-old male passenger in Blevins’s vehicle was transported by private vehicle to SoutheastHEALTH in Dexter.
