A 29-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, on Highway 25, four miles north of Aquilla.
According to the report, Tony D. Ellis, 38, of Dexter was operating a 2009 GMC Sierra southbound when it struck the rear of a southbound 2007 Freightliner operated by Mark A. Turner, 59, of Neelyville. This caused a northbound 2016 Ford F-250 operated by John W. Griffin, 66, of Morley to strike Turner’s vehicle. The accident also damaged 20 feet of guardrail.
A passenger in Ellis’s vehicle, Brittany M. Cecil, 29, of Dexter, was transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Emma G. Miller, 31, of Wappapello was arrested at 12:12 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in Wayne County on a Wayne County failure to appear warrant for a traffic violation and on suspicion of no seatbelt. She was booked at the Wayne County jail.

Robert H. Bramlett, 35, of Dexter was arrested at 4:08 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in Stoddard County on two felony probation violation warrants. He was booked at the Stoddard County jail.

A 43-year-old woman sustained minor injuries in a three-vehicle accident at 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 67 and Highway M, two miles west of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Joshua P. Morgan, 33, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro northbound when it struck the rear of a northbound 2015 Chevrolet Equinox. The Equinox was operated by Ganell A. Kopp, 50, of Poplar Bluff. Morgan’s vehicle then crossed the median and struck a northbound 2019 Jeep Cherokee operated by Stephanie L. Edwards, 43, of Naylor.
Edwards was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
At 7:06 p.m., Morgan was arrested in Butler County on suspicion of DWI (drugs) causing physical injury, careless and imprudent driving involving an accident, no insurance, failure to display valid plates and a Ripley County failure to appear warrant for careless and imprudent driving. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Joseph L. Arnold, 54, of Advance was arrested at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, in Stoddard County on a Cape Girardeau County probation violation warrant and on suspicion of driving while revoked, no seat belt, speeding and failing to properly affix a license plate tab. He was booked at the Cape Girardeau County jail.

Six people sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 1:20 a.m. Thursday, March 10, on Highway 53, one mile north of Qulin.
According to the report, Stephanie M. Vance, 29, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2007 jeep grand Cherokee northbound when it ran off the road, struck an embankment, became airborne and struck the ground.
Vance and four of her passengers — Hailey L. Housmann, no age given, of Poplar Bluff, a two-year-old male, a three-year-old female and a six-year-old male — were taken via ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, while another six-year-old male in the vehicle was taken via ambulance to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis.
At 2:52 a.m., Vance was arrested in Butler County on suspicion of felony possession of oxycodone. She was released.

Timothy W. Bishop, 30, of Ellsinore was arrested at 7:39 a.m. Thursday, March 10, in Butler County on a Butler County misdemeanor warrant for dangerous drugs. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Emily B. Swaim, 63, of Piedmont was arrested at 9:41 a.m. Thursday, March 10, in Wayne County on suspicion of felony possession of marijuana and speeding. She was released.
