__Poplar Bluff Fire Department__
Poplar Bluff firefighters responded at 12:09 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, to Fairfield Inn & Suites, 3109 Oak Grove Road, to a carbon monoxide detector activation alarm. When firefighters arrived the panel had been reset. Maintenance said a dryer was the issue. The gas company was contacted to check for a possible gas leak, but nothing was found. The dryer was to be taken out of service until it was repaired and tested.

Firefighters responded at 5:26 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident with no injuries at Katy Lane and Westwood Boulevard. There was no entrapment and EMS was on the scene. After the vehicles were removed, firefighters cleaned the debris from the roadway.

Firefighters responded at 4:18 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, to an alarm system activation at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, 3100 Oak Grove Rd. Upon arrival, security stated a tripped breaker accidentally set off the alarm and there was no fire.
