Firefighters responded at 6:34 p.m. Friday, April 21, to a vehicle and a motorcycle accident at Westwood Boulevard and Spring Street. After assisting emergency medical services with loading the patients, firefighters cleaned the roadway.

Firefighters responded at 2:08 a.m. Sunday, April 23, to a possible structure fire at 1650 Rowe Parkway, Gates Corporation. Firefighters contacted maintenance personnel who believed the fire was out. Firefighters found an area of the ceiling material burned above the volcanising department. Maintenance personnel had been welding in the area, the ceiling insulation ignited and the sprinkler head activated and extinguished the fire, according to the report.

Firefighters were dispatched at 7:24 a.m. Sunday, April 23, to a fire alarm sounding at 2210 Barron Road. They found nothing showing and no audible alarm sounding. Dispatch had not been able to get in touch withe a key holder. A firefighter opened the Knox Box to gain entry to the building and the alarm panel showed normal. The crew walked the building and nothing was found.

Firefighters responded at 5:26 p.m. Sunday, April 23, to the 1000 block of Franklin Street for smoke in the area. The occupant was burning limbs and wood from a cut-down tree that originated on the property. The occupant was advised of the city ordinance and issued a bonfire permit to allow them to burn until 10 p.m.

Firefighters responded at 7:07 p.m. Sunday, April 23, to the intersection of Main and Pine streets to a motor vehicle accident with injuries. The occupants were out of the vehicles and not injured. Firefighters blocked the eastbound lane of Pine to protect the scene from oncoming traffic until the vehicles were loaded and cleared from the scene.
