City firefighters responded at 10:13 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, to a report of a strong propane odor near MFA Oil in the 500 block of West Ashcroft Road.
According to the report, firefighters checked the bulk storage tanks and tank farm, but nothing was found.

City firefighters responded at 10:54 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, to a motor-vehicle crash at the intersection of Shelby Road and Westwood Boulevard.
According to the report, firefighters checked for injuries and provided first aid until emergency-medical-services personnel arrived.
Firefighters used an absorbent on fluids on the road and remained on the scene until the vehicles were removed.
