City firefighters responded at 12:39 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, to 1903 Wilson St. for an unauthorized burn. They learned the occupant had thrown an unauthorized item into a leaves and limb fire. They removed the item and extinguished it. They allowed the occupant to continue to burn the leaves.

City firefighters responded at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, to a camper on fire near Mike’s Resale on Business Highway 60. They began extinguishing the fire and notified Butler County Fire Department since the fire was in the county. When county firefighters arrived, the scene over to them.
