City firefighters responded at 4:27 a.m. Friday, Nov. 13, to assist emergency-medical-personnel with lifting a patient at 301 E. Neat St.

City firefighters responded at 10:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, to the 1405 Iron Bridge Road residence owned by Kim Sandler.

According to the report, a worker had been burning yard waste earlier in the day and had left without putting out the fire.

Sandler reportedly attempted to put out the fire, but was unable to do so.

Firefighters used a garden hose, about 30 gallons of water and a rake to put out the fire.

According to the report, firefighters found a large trash fire burning in the rear of the building.
