City firefighters responded at 8:42 a.m. Thursday, March 7, to a report of an unauthorized burn in the 800 block of Emma Street.
According to the report, firefighters found a man burning the coating off wires behind 810 Emma St. Firefighters used 10 gallons of water to put out the fire.

County firefighters responded at 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, to a fire on Old Highway 67.
According to the report, a small area, on state right-of-way, burned.
