According to the report, firefighters found no fire, smoke or smell of a fire in the area.

City firefighters responded at 8:30 a.m. Monday to a report of a structure fire at the 724 N. 12th St. residence owned and occupied by Dan Kara.
According to the report, firefighters found an unauthorized burn involving a trash fire in the backyard. Kara reportedly was in the process of putting out the fire.
Firefighters told Kara about the city’s burn ordinance.
