City firefighters responded at 10:47 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, to a carbon monoxide detector at the 2004 Mathis Drive residence owned by Dale Bullington. According to the report, firefighters used a gas meter to check the residence and detected a CO reading around the kitchen stove. The gas to the kitchen stove was turned off, and the residence was ventilated using natural ventilation.

Firefighters told Bullington to have the stove checked before using it again.
