City firefighters responded at 11:34 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, to a carbon monoxide detector sounding at the 2106 Wood St. residence occupied by Ashley Ellison.
According to the report, firefighters checked the residence with a multigas meter, which caused an alarm to sound.
Ellison reportedly had been using the oven at the time.
Firefighters contacted Spire to respond to the scene. Gas company employees found no leak.
The home’s windows were opened to allow ventilation.

City firefighters responded at 8:01 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, to a vehicle fire at 319 Roxie Drive.
According to the report, firefighters found a fire in the passenger compartment of a 1992 Toyota Camry, owned by Bobby Pugh of Corning, Ark.
All the doors were locked on the car, and firefighters had to break the passenger side windows to gain access.
The fire was found on the front passenger seat and console area, and firefighters used 50 gallons of water to put out the fire.
Daygan Pugh told firefighters the car had been parked all night.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Poplar Bluff Police Department.

According to the report, firefighters used 75 gallons of water to put out the fire.
