City firefighters responded at 1:37 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, to a report of a carbon monoxide detector sounding at the 2608 Barron Road residence occupied by Brook Woodard.

According to the report, firefighters checked the residence using a gas meter, and nothing was found.

The CO detector was found to be bad, and Woodard was going to replace it.
