Jackie Wrinkle
Jackie Ray Wrinkle of Bartlett, Tennessee was born March 19, 1942, to Joe Bryant and Dorothy Marie Wrinkle of Gideon, Missouri. He was the eldest of 13 children. He died Oct. 4, 2024, in Bartlett.
He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses Nov. 14, 1969, in Jefferson City, Missouri. He has been a faithful servant of Jehovah God for almost 55 years and served as an elder and regular pioneer for many of them. He raised his five children along with wife Linda in Malden, Missouri. Later in life, in 2003, he moved to the Memphis area and attended the Nesbit, Mississippi, Olive Branch, Mississippi and lastly South Bartlett, Tennessee congregations.
During his life, Jack worked in sales, factory work, and operated a janitorial business for over 40 years. He enjoyed reading, music, dancing and remodeling projects. He loved his wife and family very much. He was known for being a hard worker with a generous spirit and always was willing to help those in need. He loved the friends and above all he loved Jehovah and had a great zeal for the ministry.
Jack is survived by his loving wife Linda, of 63 years. He is also survived by five children, Jacqueline (Chris) Phillips, J.T. (Lynna) Wrinkle and Ricky Wrinkle, all of Bartlett, Tennessee, Rana (Michael) Laszewski of Sikeston, Missouri, and Brandi Walters of Jackson, Missouri. Also, he is survived by seven grandchildren, Jeremy (Stefany), Ethan, Eli, Ricky (Jennifer), Abby, Allison and Aubrey and five great-grandchildren, Mack, Ford, Zoey, Olive and Remington. Additionally, he is survived by one sister, Peggy (Allen) McDonald of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and four brothers, Gary (Betty) Wrinkle of Union, Missouri, Jim Wrinkle and Michael Wrinkle, both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Johnny Wrinkle of St. Joe, Missouri and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Nov. 2, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 3893 New Brownsville Road, Memphis, TN, 38135.
