Robert Simpson Sr.

Robert G. Simpson Sr., 66, of Bloomfield, Missouri, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024 at Mercy Hospital Stoddard, in Dexter, Missouri.

Mr. Simpson was born June 1, 1958 in Caledonia, Mississippi, son of the late Robert and Lurene Simpson.

He had served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

On Nov. 24, 1980, he married Peggy S. Faries. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Robert G. Simpson Jr. of Bloomfield; three stepdaughters, Tammy Fleeman of Puxico, Denise Callaway of St. Claire, Missouri, and Donna Nunnery of St. Louis; two sisters, Beth Petschuar of Las Vegas, Nevada and Sarah Waller of Tye, Texas; seven grandchildren and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
