The Poplar Bluff Mules football Homecoming will be Friday at Poplar Bluff High School. The Poplar Bluff Mules football Homecoming will be Friday at Poplar Bluff High School.

The Homecoming court will be announced around 6:20 p.m. The court includes Kaitlyn Booker, Lily Gregory, Willow Luke, Ashton Mays and Reece Prenger.

__Booker__

Kaitlyn Booker will be escorted by Lincoln Warren. Booker is the daughter of Carrie and Jeremy Booker.

Throughout her high school journey at Poplar Bluff High School, Booker has demonstrated exceptional commitment and leadership in both academics and extracurricular activities, according to school staff.

Booker has been a member of the varsity tennis team since her freshman year, and she has earned accolades as a singles district champion and state qualifier in both her sophomore and junior years. Additionally, she was the SEMO Conference Runner-Up her junior year.

She is currently serving as class president, Mule Barn co-president, and Unified Champions co-vice president. She has been a committed member of Student Council, Mule Barn, Unified Champions, National Honor Society, Freshman Ambassadors and Future Business Leaders of America throughout all four years of her high school career. Looking ahead, Booker plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, where she will major in journalism.

Lincoln Warren is the son of Jay and Candace Warren. Warren has been playing on the football team all four years, earning All District, All Conference, All Region and Academic All state his junior year. Additionally, he played on the basketball team his freshman year. He has been a member of Mule Barn and FBLA. He joined Unified Champions his senior year. His current future plans are unknown.

__Gregory__

Lily Gregory will be escorted by Hunter Clifford. Gregory is the daughter of Lindel Gregory and Angie Gregory.

She has been a member of the swim team since her freshman year. In the sport, she earned an Academic Letter, SEMO All-Conference honors for three freestyle events, and the Team Best Newcomer Award in swimming her freshman year. Her sophomore and junior year she received the SEMO All-Conference honors in three different events, and the Team Backstroke Award. She also earned Academic All-State honors in swimming her junior year.

Along with her accomplishments in swim, Gregory has been involved in Mule Barn, Swim Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes throughout her high school career. After high school, Gregory plans to enroll at Three Rivers College to obtain her Associate of Applied Science degree, then transfer to a four-year university to pursue a degree in physical therapy.

Hunter Clifford is the son of Brandon Matty and Leah Tull. He has been a member of the football team since his freshman year, earning Academic All-State honors each year. Clifford also participated in basketball, STUCO, Beta, FBLA, and Mule Barn during his freshman year. He plans to play on the basketball team again his senior year. He is currently undecided about his future plans.

__Luke__

Willow Luke will be escorted by Kylar Wilson. Luke is the daughter of Amy Luke, Joseph Luke and Alex Luke.

She has been a dedicated football manager throughout her high school career, earning a varsity letter each year, school staff said.

Since her freshman year, Luke has been a member of African-American Culture Club, Mule Barn, Unified Champions and Student Council, serving as the student body vice-president this year. Her freshman and sophomore years she was a member of the Drama Club as well as the Science and Environmental Club.

Luke plans to attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and double major in international business and marketing. After that, she plans to find a job working for an international company, preferably in the fashion industry.

Kylar Wilson is the son of Hayden and Tamara Wilson. He has been a member of the football team since his freshman year. Wilson has also participated in golf and Mule Barn throughout high school. In his sophomore year, Wilson continued with football, golf and Mule Barn, and joined FBLA. He has remained involved in football, Mule Barn and FBLA during his junior and senior years.

Wilson plans to attend Three Rivers College for two years and then transfer to Southeast Missouri State University for his four-year degree. He is currently working with AmeriCorps and tutoring kids. He plans to continue these activities while at TRC.

__Mays__

Ashton Mays will be escorted by Nicholas “Chase” O’Neal. Mays is the daughter of Bryan and Betsy Mays.

Mays has been a committed member of the volleyball team throughout all four years, playing on varsity her sophomore, junior and senior years.

She participated in STUCO her freshman year and has stayed an active member of Mule Barn and Beta all four years. Her sophomore year she was awarded Academic All-State. She also joined the FCA and FBLA, where she attended the state convention for FBLA sales presentation. Her junior year, she was within the Top 5 academically of the junior class and was inducted into the National Honor Society.

Mays plans to attend Logan University after completing her studies at Three Rivers. She aims to earn a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and pursue a career in chiropractic care.

Chase O’Neal is the son of Karen and Tim O’Neal.

He has been a member of the football team since his freshman year, earning a letter each year. O’Neal also participated in wrestling during his freshman year, and in track and field, where he earned a letter, during his junior year.

His sophomore year, he joined FBLA. He’s been a member of Mule Barn all four years.

O’Neal plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University to get a Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

__Prenger__

Reece Prenger will be escorted by Dereck Burton. Prenger is the daughter of Shaun and Veronica Prenger.

Prenger has been a dedicated member of the swim team since her freshman year, playing on varsity her sophomore, junior and senior years. Her junior year she was awarded Academic All-State in swim.

She has been a committed member of FCA and Mule Barn all four years of high school. Her sophomore year she joined BETA and was inducted into the National Honor Society her junior year.

Prenger plans to attend Three Rivers and get accepted into the registered nurse program and then continue her studies to get her bachelor’s degree in nursing. Her long-term goal is to pursue a career as a labor and delivery nurse.

Dereck Burton is the son of Crystal and Jerry Burton. He has been a member of the football and track and field teams since his freshman year. Burton is currently undecided about his future plans at the moment.
