Connie Coleman

Connie Lamar Coleman, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital surrounded by family. 

Connie was born Dec. 1, 1954, in Poplar Bluff. Connie had a strong faith in God and was of Baptist faith.  She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and her flower garden and loved spending time with nieces and nephews.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl (Dick) Eugene Coleman; their unborn child; Connie’s parents, Vernon Lamar Bishop and Neoma Elizabeth Bishop (Smothers). 

She is survived by siblings, Carmilita Walker (Ronnie), Cathy Mansbridge, Vernon Bishop (Lisa), Cheryl Schalk (Kenny) and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.  Connie will forever hold a piece of our hearts.

Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, and the funeral immediately following at 12:30 p.m. at Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services, 1100 Iron Bridge Road. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Steve Patterson officiating. Cotrell Willow Ridge Funeral & Cremation Services is honored to serve the family of Connie Lamar Coleman.
