Charles Church

Charles “David” Church, 87, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Sunday, July 28, 2024 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Mr. Church was born June 13, 1937 in Leeper, Missouri, son of the late PI and Edna Viola Church (née Eaton).

David served in the United States Air Force from 1959 until 1963. In 1965 he began his career selling auto parts for Cruz Pontiac. He worked for several other dealerships over the years and retired from Larry Hillis Dodge in 2003. On Nov. 27, 1965, he married Judy Winder Church. She survives. Also surviving is one brother: Larry Dale (Gerriann) Church of Saint Peters, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by one sister: Barbara Jean Davidson

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug.1, 2024 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Schremp officiating. Burial with full military honors will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
