Alma Loafman

Alma Geane Loafman, the daughter of the late Milo Young and Jessie Lee Arnold Young, was born Oct. 27, 1928, in Dexter, Missouri.

On May 4, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas, she was united in marriage to Hershel Mabrey Loafman. He preceded her in death July 24, 2023.

Alma was a member of the Bethany General Baptist Church of Campbell, Missouri.

Mrs. Loafman died Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 95 years.

Survivors include one grandson, Jerimiah Benjamin of Campbell; one brother, Glenn Young of Dexter and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kenny Dwight Loafman; one daughter, Kimberly Elaine Benjamin; three brothers, Dwight, Milo Jr. and Donald H. and one sister, Wanda Louise.

A visitation was held at noon Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services followed at 1 p.m. in the chapel, with Pastor Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery in Campbell.
