Jerry Stevenson

Jerry Lee Stevenson, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away July 13, 2024 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Jerry was born July 26, 1948 to Clayton and Lucille Evangeline (Black) Stevenson in Poplar Bluff.

Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School and a 1972 graduate from Linn Technical College in Linn, Missouri as an aircraft mechanic/technician. He served 30 years as an inspector of aviation technician/jet mechanic and inspector of aviation for Halliburton, an oil field service company. He traveled widely with the planes in his care. Jerry also served his country in the U.S. Navy for eight years. He also enjoyed NASCAR racing, especially Jeff Gordon.

Jerry is survived by son, Travis Lee Stevenson of Missouri; daughter, Shannon Marie Wilkinson of Oklahoma; daughter, Ashley Lee Ann Hardy of Texas; grandchildren, Shelby, Christopher, Caylee, Samara, Alexis and Joseph; great-grandchild, Ezra; brother, Robert Clayton Stevenson of Missouri; sister, Carol Ann Huck of Missouri; dear friend, Emily Morgan; and neighbor, Crystal Briscoe, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Ray Stevenson.

Per Jerry’s request there will be no service. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home of Poplar Bluff in charge of arrangements.
