Martha Ann Wilson, 82, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, died Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Wilson was born Nov. 27, 1941 in Ash Hill, Missouri, daughter of the late Robert and Ethel Brown (née Thomas).

Martha loved to be on the go; from going on drives locally to traveling with her family. Above all, she loved Jesus. She had been a member of Grace Christian Fellowship for nearly 30 years and faithfully served her church in the Welcome Center and the Inspirations Group.

On Sept. 30, 1960, she married George Vernon Wilson. He survives. Also surviving are two children, Carla Wilson of Pendergrass, Georgia and Sandi (Stewart) Farron of Dawsonville, Georgia; one grandson, Cody Crum; one step-grandson, Dustin Farron; four brothers, Curtis Brown of Port St. Joe, Florida, Tom Brown of Belleville, Illinois, Eddie Brown of Poplar Bluff, and Paul Brown of Florence, Alabama.

In addition to her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by six siblings, Lyman Brown, Phillip Brown, Bobby Brown, Ralph Brown, Sylvia Smith, and Arinda Littrell.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Brian Sharp officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://www.alz.org/ or 225 N.
