Caleb Weaver, 21, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 1:55 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, during a traffic stop on Abbott Street. Weaver was booked on a Butler County warrant for property damage (bond $20,000) and lodged at the Butler County jail.

A 2010 Dodge Nitro was towed at 11:41 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, during a traffic stop on Maud Street after it was determined the vehicle was not insured. The driver was issued traffic tickets.

Jerry Stevenson made a forgery report at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, in the 2000 Block of Barron Road. The case is under investigation.

Joshua Blagg, 46, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, in Wiseman Park. Blagg was booked on a Butler County warrant for a traffic offense (bond $5,000) and lodged in the Butler County jail.

A 2008 Saturn Vue was towed during a traffic stop at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, on Lindsay Street. The driver was issued traffic tickets.

Jackson Williams, 22, of Poplar Bluff and Syerra Kipfer, 30, of Poplar Bluff were arrested at 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, during a domestic assault investigation on South Eighth Street. Williams was booked on the charge of domestic assault fourth-degree. Kipfer was arrested on the charge of domestic assault fourth-degree. Kipfer was also booked on Poplar Bluff warrants for failure to appear on traffic offenses (bond $200.00). Williams and Kipfer were both lodged in the Butler County jail.

A violation of an order of protection was reported at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, on Raulston Street. The case has been referred to the Butler County prosecutor’s office.

Officers responded at 9:56 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, to an assault at Rhodes Convenience Store. A report was taken for domestic assault fourth-degree, property damage and a trespass notice was issued. The case was referred to the juvenile office.
