Officers responded at approximately 3:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, to the 1000 block of Nooney Street in reference to a subject brandishing a firearm. Officers made contact with the homeowner who advised he took a pistol brought into his residence by his juvenile son and one of his friends. Officers collected the firearm and placed it into evidence. The juveniles were transported to the police department and released to the on-call juvenile officer. The report will be forwarded to the Butler County Juvenile Office.

Officers responded at 2:29 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, to the 300 block of West Harper in reference to a suicidal subject. After making contact with the subjects involved it was deemed that the call was not as reported and a misunderstanding.

Officers were dispatched at 10:08 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, to the 600 block of North 8th Street in reference to an attempted suicide. The individual was transported to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center where she received treatment.

On at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Dewey Street in reference to a verbal dispute. Both subjects were advised of the Missouri State Domestic Laws. The parties were separated for the evening.

Officers responded at 12:54 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, to the 1400 block of North Westwood Boulevard in reference to a peace disturbance. The suspect of the peace disturbance was transported to PBRMC for a metal health evaluation.

Officers responded at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, to the 1300 block of Forest Street in reference to attempted suicide. Officers transported the subject to PBRMC for a 96-hour metal health evaluation.

Officers responded at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, to the 400 block of South Broadway Street in reference to threatening suicide. Officers transported the subject to PBRMC for a 96-hour mental health evaluation.

Officers responded at 11:01 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, to the intersection of 5th Street and Main Street in reference to a subject walking in the roadway. Officers observed the subject’s actions and suspected her to be under the influence of narcotics. Due to her actions and her safety, officers transported her to PBRMC for a 96-hour mental health evaluation.
